When I'm not helping families preserve their precious moments, you'll find me creating my own stories across New England. I spend my days adventuring with my rescue pup Memphis on Burlington's trails, exploring the Green Mountains with my partner Clark, and seeking out the perfect cup of black coffee in local cafes. Between mountain adventures and Netflix marathons, I'm usually dreaming about chocolate cake for breakfast - because real life includes all these perfectly imperfect moments.
My approach to photography stems from this same belief in embracing life's authentic rhythms. I create welcoming spaces where every love story and family journey matters, taking time to understand the unique details that make your family special. Whether we're documenting quiet morning routines or celebrating milestone moments, my focus remains on crafting images that become treasured heirlooms while making every session feel like time with a trusted friend. I'm Damini (pronounced DOM-uh-knee), and my journey with photography began through my own family's albums. As someone who discovered belonging through photographs after being adopted, I understand deeply how powerful visual storytelling can be. These images weren't just photographs - they were windows into understanding my place in this world, bridges connecting my past to my present.
This personal experience has shaped how I approach every session, driving my commitment to creating meaningful visual legacies for New England families like yours. Because I know firsthand that the right photograph can become more than just an image - it can be a touchstone of belonging, a catalyst for connection, and a bridge between generations.

Damini has been very responsive, answering our emails and texts making sure all of our questions are answered. So far we have had the most amazing engagement photo shoot. Damini hiked with us just under a half mile to capture the views at an incredible lookout. We ended our shoot at a lake where Damini embraced our silly side as we took many water photos (in jeans!). We cannot wait for her to capture our wedding day!
